Future Leaders of Puketāpapa
The kaupapa of our event is, “There is a leader in everyone. Leaders don’t need to be at the front of an action to be able to make change. Every leadership style is valuable and rangatahi are required to step out of our comfort zones in order to understand what leadership means to them.”
Our event does not want to not be exclusive but instead inclusive to all leaders. Often people are hand picked but we’ve opened the space to anyone who is interested. We don’t believe in shutting people out of opportunities just because they are not the poster image of what a ‘leader’ is. We want these rangatahi to make great connections with one another but also learn a lot about themselves.
We also have a special spoken word workshop facilitated by Action Education that you do not want to miss! So all rangatahi that want to lead their communities come to our event to learn more about yourself, grow independence, and develop a courageous mindset that sets you up to change the future.
