Prefect Exchange 2021 (Part 1)

Our Prefect Exchange this year had an amazing turnout of 20+ people who brought expert insights into varying areas of their school lives. This exchange sought to unite schools in our community through an exchange of student prefects; the creation of an engaging space that allowed them to share, discuss and learn about the systems and environments in each other’s schools. This first exchange was all about creating a bond and sharing laughs before the insightful discussions at our second upcoming exchange. The prefects were invited from two high schools in Puketāpapa — Lynfield College and Mount Roskill Grammar School.  We played team building and competitive games, which then led to a discussion about the issues that students faced during lockdown, and the solutions that came from them.  The prefects were split into their respective profiles and aspects of school life, sports, arts and culture, and academics.
